Instant Sculptures: 201701 Series

But in a way they still contain and spatially embody the extremely focussed seconds it took me to bring each and every one of them into being. The earlier areas of the stroke are further back in the image space. The last bits will always be in front. This produces the perspective illusion of a curved space-time-continuum. But that is not real at all. (Sometimes I call it "post-real") This analog process feels different from working in my 3D-software where I work with algorithms, so I can digitally manipulate rotate or twist any virtual sculpture to my liking for as long as I care to do so.
