The MURAL WORLD VIEW is generated with the help of a self-written computer program. The artist is adapting scientific algorithms, which were originally developed for the simulation of neuronal plasticity and organic networks.

On the symbolic level, WORLD VIEW (WELTBILD) stands for the diverse social relationships that make up our WORLD. The idea is that these virtual - so actually intangible - connections are physically and spatially felt in the large MURAL.

Das WANDBILD WELTBILD ist mit Hilfe eines selbstgeschriebenen Computerprogrammes individuell generiert. Peter Sandhaus adaptiert dazu wissenschaftliche Algorithmen, welche ursprünglich für die Simulation neuronaler Plastizität und organischer Netzwerke entwickelt wurden.

Auf der symbolischen Ebene steht das WELTBILD für die vielfältigen sozialen Beziehungen, die unsere WELT ausmachen. Die Idee ist es, dass diese virtuellen - also eigentlich nicht greifbaren - Verbindungen durch das große WANDBILD physisch und raumgreifend spürbar werden.
